Wait! Just one question. Did you ever want batch- files without having to dive into programming? Did you ever want colored menus with and hotkey control, pop up windows and text boxes with various types of shadows, borders and even screen- savers using a single command line in your batch files? Giving to your batch files a appearance? PowerBatch V 1.1 is the right choice for you then. PowerBatch V 1.1 provides easy to use menus with mouse control, hotkeys, borders, shadows for 3D-effects, colors, screen savers, and more. More than 30 command line options can be used, affecting the program's behavior. But you don't need to worry about all the options at a time - just do what you want, the program will take and give you assistance whenever an error occurs. PowerBatch V 1.1 comes along with a in both English and German. The tutorial batch file itself is written making of the possibilities as provided by PowerBatch. The tutorial batch file is and can be used as a sample application. The tutorial gives you step-by-step help, samples, color tables and tables explaining all parameters. If you intend to distribute PowerBatch V 1.1 (you are encouraged to do!), please include the executable together with the tutorial. Other questions can be answered via email. Suggestions are greatly welcome. PowerBatch V 1.1 can be run stand-alone. You need only the exe- cutable PB.EXE (less than 30 KB) to get all functions. Imagine using it together with your own programs on floppy disk distribu- tions and the like! But perhaps try to keep it together with the tutorial, thus permitting other people to use it as well. PowerBatch V 1.1 is or ShareWare. If you use it re- gularly, you are encouraged to pay a small registration fee. If you like the program, I may ask you in any case to send me a nice post card, regardless of whether you want to register or not. > PowerBatch V 1.1 is fully functional! ShareWare nag-screens > or the like are included! It is up to you to register or not. In > any case send nice post cards :) > Users unpack the pbatch11.zip file into a separate directory and > run the pbhelp.bat tutorial batch file. Thats all. You will get > it working for your own purpose within 30 minutes typically. The > *.GER, *.ENG, *.MEN files are source files for the tutorial. The > executable is PB.EXE. Special requirements: None. It will run as long as DOS runs. Changes: PBATCH11.ZIP replaces PBATCH10.ZIP. Some minor changes in the program's internal functions have been applied. As it was requested by several users, the screen savers can now as well be activated immediately moving the mouse to the upper right corner of the screen. Other suggestions "to do in the near future" are mentioned in the tutorial file PBHELP.BAT. Shareware or Cardware. Uploaded by the author. Matthias Nott mnott@gwdg.de
